Developed
with the serious competitor in mind,
Audio Profiles has improved on the
common black-and-white schematic
used by most enthusiasts during
competition by creating customized
diagrams in full color. This way
of diagramming takes full advantage
of state-of-the-art computer technology,
combining realistic illustrations
of common audio components into
a complete graphical presentation.
"This product is definitely
geared to the competitor" said
Lyle Engleson,owner and president
of Audio Profiles. "There's
no comparison to ink drawn diagrams,
and competitors are sure to win
high points for presentation and
creativity." Engleson, who
debuted the company's product line
at the 1996 IASCA Finals in Greenville
received tremendous response from
competitors and judges alike. "The
most visually stunning and most
informative system diagram and power
flow chart on the circuit"
says Femme Adagoke with Image Dynamics.
Competitors
can choose from four different packages
of signal flow and power flow diagrams.
Each package is geared to each level
of competition-Novice, Amateur,
Pro and Expert. The Novice Diagrams
the standard package, and consists
of one 8 1/2 x 11 inch print or
an 8x10 inch transparency of a complete
system, including the head unit,
CD Changer, equalizer, signal processor,
amps, speakers, and speaker wire,
as well as a choice of background
color.

The Amateur Diagram provides a similar
schematic but is slightly more custom,
adding model numbers and brand logos of
the audio equipment used by the competitor.
The Pro Diagram builds further on the
previous two. providing an overall package.
System diagrams are given a personal touch
with he option of adding colors to match
a competitors vehicle interior. The Pro
also includes a power chart incorporated
into the diagram to create the ultimate
custom look. "What makes the Pro
so economical is the addition of a duplicate
print or transparency," added Engleson,
"It's perfect for the competitor
who has a system diagram display in the
back of his or her vehicle." But
for the seriously serious, "Engleson
recommends the Expert Diagram. "This
diagram may well be the most thought out
component in your car." he said.
The expert Diagram contains everything
included in the other three packages but
provides many additional feature. Since
most competitors in this class are sponsored
by a company or manufacturer, Audio Profiles
incorporates the company's corresponding
logo into the overall design. In addition,
a front page is designed for the competitors
book, which includes a photograph of your
choice, competitors name, audio association
names and or logos, and of course the
sponsors logo(s).
Packages
take approximately four to six weeks to
complete, and additional custom features
and special requests are available at
an additional cost. Although these packages
are geared toward the individual competitors,
Engleson believes system diagrams can
also be useful to manufactures. "We
also create custom displays of any shape
and size for companies to use in brochures
trade shows and competitions," he
said. For complete details on customizing
